There are some methods to make hot fix rhinestone transfers or motifs, now I introduce here a common method used by workers in a factory, which is more convenient, quick and accurate.

Firstly, motif design. A sketch is necessary. We can choose from a motif library or from our photo album, download from internet, print it out. Of course we can draw or doodle a picture on a paper. Anyway, we need an image on a paper. It must consider where we will iron on the motifs on a clothing, which size of motif we will iron on, which size of rhinestone and which color of rhinestone we will iron on etc.

Please pay attention to the rhinestone size and color. Big circle means a big rhinestone, red circle means a red rhinestone.

Secondly, paper fixation. We put the paper on a desk that the surface is flat. Taking a transparent plastic plate or an acrylic plate or a glass plate (a toughened glass plate is better for security than a common glass), not much thick, put it on the paper. In order to avoid moving each other, it had better fix them by a transparent adhesive tape.

Third, put all the rhinestones on the plastic plate according to the picture. Pay attention to the rhinestone color and size. The flat back of rhinstone is put on the plastic plate, don't put the point of rhinestone on the plastic plate. After putting all the rhinestones, check and change them if there are some mistake of size and color and flaw. Now, be careful, don't move the rhinestones again.

A bended tweezer is always used for putting the rhinestone on the plastic plate.

Fourth, glue paper preparation. Cut the glue paper, make it a little bigger than the rhinestone image. A glue paper has two layers. One is a transparent layer with glue on it, the other layer is an underlay. Detach these two layers, and put the underlay aside, do't throw it out. We will use it later.

Fifth, rhinestone covering. Cover the transparent layer on the rhinestones lightly and slowly. Let the glue face towards the rhinestones, don't let the rhinestone moving. Press the transparent layer and let all the rhinestones glued on it.

If the rhinestone image is too big, at the Fourth step, we don't detach the two layers totally, we can detach a little, and glue some rhinestines, then detach a little again, and glue again, untill glue all the rhinestones step by step.

Sixth, rhinestone picking-up. Take up slowly the transparent layer with the rhinestone on it.

Finally, put the transparent layer on the underlay to protect the rhinestone inside. It can keep for a long time.

Ok, a hotfix motif is finished. After that, if making mass production, a special rhinestone plate is a good choice, which is very very efficient.

Another method, it is to drill through many small holes on an acrylic plate by a laser marking machine according to the images you printed out. The hole diameter is drilled according to different diameter of rhinestone, a little bigger than the rhinestone size. Put the glue paper under the acrylic plate flatly and properly, the paper will glue with the acrylic plate. It will be better if the glue paper is a littel bigger than the acrylic plate, it is convenient to fix the glue paper on a desk by drawing pins. Put the rhinestone with the right size and color inside the holes, the rhinestone point is put towards the paper. After putting all the rhinestones, take up the acrylic plate from the glue paper. The rhinestones and the glue paper will left together. Now put the underlay of glue paper on the rhinestone.

You can make an efficient production by this method.
